The purpose of the study is to test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug for the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with atrial fibrillation (cardioembolic stroke prevention).

What To Expect 

Sign up for this study by completing a short questionnaire to find out if you or your loved one pre-qualify for the study. You will receive an immediate response if you pre-qualify or not. If you pre-qualify, you may participate from home.

Study participation may last up to 18 months. If you sign the informed consent and qualify to proceed to screening, the patient journey looks like this:

  • Screening/Randomization (4-8 weeks)
  • Treatment period (Up to 14 months)

At the point of informed consent, you can reach out to your assigned research staff for any questions you have.

Step 2: Sign a Medical Release Consent Form
To verify you meet eligibility criteria for our stroke prevention in AFib patients clinical trial, we need to obtain medical records from your healthcare provider(s).
Step 3: A Clinical Research Coordinator will contact you for an Informed Consent visit.
You will have a call with your designated Clinical Research Coordinator to help you through the informed consent and any other study related procedures.
