Compensation may be provided for enrolled participants, up to around $1,400.

The purpose of this research is to learn if an investigational medication, volixibat, might be an effective
and safe treatment option for itching caused by PSC or PBC

What To Expect 

First, sign up for this study by completing a short questionnaire to find out if you or your loved one pre-qualify. If you pre-qualify, we will then request permission to obtain and review your medical records to further determine your eligibility.

Study participation may last up to 32 weeks with an optional long-term extension. If you sign the informed consent and qualify to proceed to screening, the patient journey looks like this:

  • Screening
  • Treatment
  • Long-term extension
