If you have been diagnosed with mycobacterial lung infection caused by Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) and haven’t yet started treatment.

Our Purpose

The purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate an investigational drug for the potential treatment of MAC lung infections and evaluate symptomatic improvement, including effects on respiratory discomfort and fatigue.

This study (also called a clinical trial) will include adults from around the world with MAC lung infections. Your participation in the study could help increase the knowledge and understanding of MAC lung infections to potentially benefit the broader MAC community.

What is the importance of clinical trials for MAC?

Not all MAC patients respond to currently available treatments. Therefore, there is a need to develop and find potential new treatments for people with MAC lung infection through clinical studies.

How long will the study last?

Enrolled participants will be in the study for up to 18 months and will visit the study site regularly.

What is a Phase 3 clinical study?

When new drugs are being studied as possible treatments for patients with a disease, they are tested in stages or “phases.” A Phase 3 clinical study is one of the later phases of testing in patients.
